OSSI is intended to be community-developed and practical by design. Contributions can include draft review, examples, schema feedback, issue discussion, implementation notes, and real-world project testing.

Ways to contribute

• Propose improvements to an existing standard.
• Test a specification against an open source project.
• Contribute examples, checklists, or adoption notes.
• Review terminology for clarity.
• Suggest new standards where projects lack shared practice.
